Contact & Support – We're Here to Help

We built YTMP3 Ultra with passion, and we're committed to keeping it fast, reliable, and easy to use. If you've hit a snag, have questions about how our converter works, or just want to share feedback, this page will help you get the most out of reaching us.

Why Get in Touch?

Whether you're experiencing a conversion issue, want to know more about audio formats, have questions about responsible downloading, or just want to tell us what you think, we genuinely value your input. Your feedback helps us improve YTMP3 Ultra and fix problems faster. Before you reach out, though, take a moment to read through the sections below—you might find the answer you're looking for, and you'll definitely prepare a stronger support enquiry if you do need to contact us.

Common Conversion Issues & Troubleshooting

Most conversion problems fall into a few predictable categories. If your YouTube video won't convert, the file won't download, or the quality isn't what you expected, start here.

Video Won't Convert

If you paste a YouTube link and the conversion stalls or fails, first check that the link is correct and complete. Make sure you've copied the full URL from your browser's address bar or the Share button on YouTube. Private videos, age-restricted content, and videos with regional restrictions often can't be converted—this is a YouTube limitation, not an issue with our tool. If the link works fine in your browser but won't convert with YTMP3 Ultra, note the exact URL and any error message you see, along with your device and browser details (see below), and we can look into it.

Download Won't Start or Completes Slowly

If your converted file won't download or takes forever, this is usually a connection issue rather than a problem with our converter. Try refreshing the page and starting again. If you're on mobile, make sure you have enough free storage space. Larger files and longer videos naturally take longer to process. If downloads consistently fail after the conversion completes successfully, let us know your device type, browser, and the video length you were attempting.

Audio or Video Quality Is Poor

Our converter preserves the quality of the original YouTube video, so if the download sounds tinny or looks pixelated, YouTube's source file might be the culprit—especially for older or lower-resolution uploads. We support MP3 audio up to high bitrate and MP4 video up to 1080p, but the actual quality depends on what YouTube has available. If you're consistently getting poor quality from videos that play beautifully on YouTube itself, we'd like to know. Include the video URL and details about what you're using to play the file (media player, device, headphones).

Preparing a Strong Support Enquiry

When something goes wrong, the more information you give us, the faster we can help. Here's what to include:

  • Device type: Windows PC, macOS, Android phone, iPhone, tablet, etc.
  • Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or another browser (and the version if you know it)
  • The YouTube link: The exact URL of the video you were trying to convert (or a similar video if the original is private)
  • What you chose: Were you downloading as MP3 or MP4? YouTube Shorts or a full-length video?
  • What went wrong: Describe the exact error, stall, or unexpected behavior
  • When it happened: Was this a one-off issue or does it happen consistently?
  • What you've already tried: Refreshing the page, trying a different video, clearing your browser cache, etc.

The more specific you are, the better we can investigate and fix the problem.

Audio Formats & Technical Questions

YTMP3 Ultra converts YouTube videos to MP3 (audio only) and MP4 (video and audio together). MP3 files are ideal for music, podcasts, and audiobooks—they're compressed, portable, and work on nearly every device and media player. MP4 files keep both video and audio in a single file, perfect for offline viewing on your phone, tablet, or computer.

We aim for high-quality output: MP3 audio at strong bitrates and MP4 video up to 1080p where the source allows. If you have questions about codec compatibility, file size, bitrate, or whether a particular device will play your downloaded file, we're happy to help clarify. Just be specific about which device or software you're planning to use.

Responsible Use & Copyright Questions

We don't support or encourage downloading copyrighted material. YTMP3 Ultra is a tool; how you use it is your responsibility. That said, we understand the questions that come up.

What can I legally download? Content you own, have permission to download, or that is in the public domain or licensed under a creative commons or similar open license. Many YouTube creators explicitly allow downloads of their content—check the video description or channel about section. Educational videos, independent music, and personal recordings are often fair game. Copyrighted music, movies, and TV shows are not.

What about fair use? Fair use is complex and varies by country. Using a small clip for commentary or education might qualify; downloading an entire album or film typically doesn't. When in doubt, reach out to the content creator directly and ask for permission.

I found copyrighted content on YouTube—should I report it? Yes, use YouTube's reporting tools. We're a conversion tool, not a content moderator, but YouTube takes copyright seriously and will remove infringing content if it's reported.

If you have a specific copyright or legal question about a particular video, we can discuss it, but we can't give legal advice. We encourage you to reach out with details and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Feedback & Feature Requests

Love YTMP3 Ultra? Frustrated by something? Wish we supported a different format or had a new feature? We'd genuinely like to hear it. Feedback from real users helps us prioritize improvements and catch issues we might have missed. Tell us what's working well, what could be better, and what you'd like to see next. Even small suggestions make a difference.

Thanks for using YTMP3 Ultra. We're proud of what we've built, and we're committed to keeping it simple, fast, and reliable. If you need anything at all—whether it's troubleshooting, a question, or just praise or criticism—we're here.
